GK Chapter Scholarships Go to Chapter

We are awarding four scholarships to students who were inducted this year.  Each student will receive $100.00.  The selection process was based on three criteria:

Our first scholarship recipient, Megan Steffen, is a sophomore majoring in Mathematics Education with a Spanish minor from Hartland, WI. She is also involved in Eta Phi Alpha Honors Society and the Aspiring Educators of Wisconsin club. Emma will be our Educational Service Coordinator for the 2020-2021 year.

Taylor LaChapelle is an Exercise Science PreProfessional Track major with a Nutrition minor following the PreMed track. She is from Adams, WI and will be both our Webmaster and Social Media Chair next year. She is also in Eta Phi Alpha and volunteers with the Adult Physical Fitness Program.

John Roherty is a double major in Psychology and Spanish with an Ethnic and Racial Studies minor. From Marshfield, WI, John is a peer advisor in the Career Services and Academic Advising Center on campus.

Alyssa Sullivan, from Dodgeville, WI, is majoring in Biology with an Environmental Science concentration and Chemistry Minor. She will be Golden Key’s Vice President next year and is active in Circle K and the American Red Cross club.

Brandon Simmons is a preDentistry student majoring in Biology with a Chemistry minor. He is from Blair, WI, and co-owner and property manager of Simmons Rentals.

Kristen Clark is majoring in Middle Childhood-Early Adolescent Education with a General Science Minor. She is a member of Kappa Delta Pi and volunteers at the La Crosse Children 's Museum.

These six individuals are to be commended for their academics and their activities in the community.  Congratulations!
