Little Heart Project Go to Chapter

Throughout the semester, our Golden Key club had the privilege of working with The Little Hearts Project. The Little Hearts Project started with the intent of spreading hope and love while also trying to bring awareness to suicide and suicide prevention. Their mission is to prevent suicide one heart at a time through serendipitous words of encouragement. The hearts are crocheted and then attached to little inspirational and meaningful messages. So, as a club, we would tie the messages to the hearts and bag them up to be shipped out and spread around communities. Kathleen Jensen is the project founder and has been very excited that Golden Key has taken an interest in helping The Little Hearts Project. Around once a month during one of our meetings, we get a bag of hearts and tie them to the printed-out messages. We are thrilled to be a part of something bigger that is affecting so many lives.
