University of Maine
The University of Maine believes in excellence and strives to provide the best environment possible for guiding our Golden Key members to achieve in academics, leadership and service. The 280th Golden Key chapter, University of Maine, was chartered April 22, 1999, as a part of U.S. Region 4, which includes institutions in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, and West Virginia. In addition to all of the valuable membership benefits, discounts and opportunities at both the local chapter level and the Society level, The University of Maine gives special recognition by listing Golden Key membership on each member\'s transcript. Members also have the option of being recognized during graduation by wearing honor cords for purchase.
