The 255th Golden Key chapter, Texas Southern University was chartered April 23rd, 1997, as part of U.S. Region 7, which includes schools in Arizona, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas.

Golden Key International Honour Society is the world's largest collegiate honor society for graduate and undergraduate students, and has strong relationships with over 400 universities around the world.
