2018 International Travel Grant to Australia

This award is intended for Golden Key members attending universities based in the Bahamas, Canada, South Africa and the United States.

The award amount is $1500 USD (or equivalent in South Africa (RND), Canada (CAD) and Bahamas (BSD).  Payments will be made in the currency of the recipient’s home institution based on currency rates at the time the scholarship is awarded, as determined by Golden Key management.

Application Criteria:

1.  Current resume/ CV

2.  Current transcript—official or unofficial copy (students only)

3.  At least one letter of recommendation from any university faculty/staff member (students only)

4.  Answers to the following questions (word limit for each question is 500 words):

  • Why do you want to attend the 2018 Golden Key Conference in Melbourne?
  • How will attending the Conference benefit your personal and professional endeavors?
  • Why do you feel that you should receive the 2018 Travel Grant to Melbourne?

Winners and non-winners will be notified via email by 10 December, 2017.

Currently active Golden Key undergraduate & graduate members, as well as chapter advisors and Council members (CoA/CoSM) may apply for these awards. Prospective GK members may be considered.   Applicant’s home institution may NOT be based in Australia, India or New Zealand.
