Information You Should KnowMost Golden Key chapters start their membership drive in the early spring or in the early fall.
Each chapter has the opportunity to award two scholarships to undergraduate members (one each to a junior and senior). Please review the section on Chapter Undergraduate Scholarships for more information.
All chapters have the opportunity to have other events (social, service, etc.) on campus at any time of the year. Chapters are encouraged to host literacy-based service projects but are allowed to participate in other kinds of service projects as well.
Chapter members also have the opportunity to attend the Society-wide International Conference generally held in August.
Participation as a chapter in various events counts toward reaching different recognition levels within the chapter. Reviewing the chapter standards will help you and your chapter decide which level to shoot for.
