Pillar comments, "I am extremely honoured in being named a recipient of the Engineering/Technology Achievement Award, and thank Golden Key for their recognition and support. Currently, I am working on trajectory planning and guidance processes to help unmanned aircraft navigate to land autonomously in an emergency. Having this capability will greatly enhance the usefulness of these robotic aircraft for the good of humanity. This award will help contribute towards my research expenses at this university and further collaborative studies overseas later this year. Receiving this award has also encouraged me to continue to further my academic success through hard work and dedication." |

Birce comments, "I feel so honored to be one of the winners of the Spring 2009 Golden Key Engineering & Technology Achievement Award. The excellence and the recognition that brought within being a scholarship winner is the ‘fuel’ of my future goals in motivational sense. Having currently enrolled for a PhD in Mechanical Engineering at Texas Tech University, focusing on aluminum nanoparticle combustion, the money will help support my research for the next year. I wish to express my deepest sympathy and gratitude to Golden Key for this prestigious award." |
