I was pleased and honored to learn that I was chosen for this award. I will be starting my junior year in August 2009 at The University of Akron (UA) in Akron, Ohio in my pursuit of a Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. This scholarship will be used to assist with tuition costs for this coming semester. As a first-generation college student I am very appreciative to have the opportunity to pursue a college degree in my chosen field. It is my goal to be employed by a company that is leading the way for the advancement of new technologies in the field of Electrical Engineering." |
