Natalie comments, "It is an honour to receive this award in recognition of my achievements throughout my university career. I would like to thank those colleagues who supported my application and my network of friends and family who have shown unwavering understanding and confidence in me throughout my undergraduate years and so far during my doctorate. Many thanks also to Golden Key for the wonderful opportunity they provide me and so many others through their generous scholarships and awards program. The scholarship will be used to cover registration and travel expenses from Perth to the 2009 Ecological Society of Australia Symposium, Canberra."
