Description: This scholarship assists members who participate in a study abroad program.

Scholarships Available: Ten US$1,000 awards will be presented each year (three for the 15 October deadline, seven for the 15 April deadline).

Eligibility: Those eligible are undergraduate members who are currently enrolled in a study abroad program or will be enrolled the academic year immediately following the granting of the award. The study abroad program cannot have been completed prior to the application deadline date.

Criteria: Academic achievement and relevance of study abroad program to major field of study, a determined by the selection committee.

Application requirements:

1. Follow the instructions to Register Your Scholarship Application.

2. Print out the cover page from the online registration and use it as the cover page for your entire application.

3. Attach the following required documentation:

A description of the planned academic program at the host university. Submit no more than five pages.

A one-page statement of the relevance of this program to your degree signed by a professor or academic advisor.

A current and comprehensive official academic transcript.
