Description: This award recognizes the literary talents of Golden Key members in four categories - fiction, non-fiction, poetry and news writing.

Scholarships Available: At least one winner in each category will receive $1,000(USD).

Eligibility: Those eligible are undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate members who are currently enrolled in classes at a degree-granting program.

Criteria: Quality of writing submitted, as determined by the selection committee

Application requirements:

1. Follow the instructions to Register Your Scholarship Application. During this process you will be prompted for an ACCESS KEY. The ACCESS KEY is GKIHS.

2. Print out the cover page from the online registration and use it as the cover page for your entire application.

3. Attach the following required documentation:

An original composition. Previously published works will not be accepted. We encourage you to submit original compositions for each of the 4 categories listed above. However, applicants are only allowed to submit ONE composition per each of the 4 categories. If an applicant submits more than ONE composition in a single category, they will not be considered as an applicant for that category. A single poem is considered ONE composition; books of poetry will not be considered. Submissions will not be returned to the applicant.

Entries must not exceed 1,500 words.
