Description: This award recognizes members who excel in the study of engineering.

Scholarships Available: One - $1,000 (USD) scholarship.

Eligibility: Those eligible are U.S. undergraduate members who are currently enrolled in classes at a degree-granting program at the time of award notification.

Criteria: Academic achievement in field, quality of related paper submitted.

Application requirements:

1. Follow the instructions to Register Your Scholarship Application.

2. Print out the cover page from the online registration and use it as a cover page for your entire application.

3. Attach the following required documentation:

An engineering related paper/report you have prepared. The submission must not exceed 10 pages of text.

An essay no more than 500 words describing the assignment for writing the paper, what the greatest challenge was in writing the paper, what lessons were learned from completing the assignment, and if you were to rewrite the report, what would be changed.

A letter of recommendation from a professor in the discipline.

A current and comprehensive official academic transcript.
