Description: This award recognizes members who excel in the study of education.

Scholarships Available: One winner will receive $2,000(USD), a second place winner will receive $1,500(USD), and a third place winner will receive $1,000(USD).

Eligibility: Those eligible are undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate members who are currently enrolled in classes at a degree-granting program.

Criteria: Academic achievement, quality of paper submitted, as determined by the selection committee.

Application requirements:

1. Follow the instructions to Register Your Scholarship Application. During this process you will be prompted for an ACCESS KEY. The ACCESS KEY is GKIHS.

2. Print out the cover page from the online registration and it use as the cover page for your entire application.

3. Attach the following required documentation:

A paper/report you have prepared related to the study of education, as it relates to field of teaching. The submission must not exceed 10 pages of text.

A letter of recommendation from a professor in the discipline.

A current and comprehensive official academic transcript.
