Description: This award recognizes members who excel in the study of education.
Scholarships Available: One winner will receive US$1,000, a second place winner will receive US$750, and a third place winner will receive US$500.
Eligibility: Those eligible are undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate members who are currently enrolled in classes at a degree-granting program.
Criteria: Academic achievement, quality of paper submitted, as determined by the selection committee.
Application requirements:
1. Follow the instructions to Register Your Scholarship Application.
2. Print out the cover page from the online registration and it use as the cover page for your entire application.
3. Attach the following required documentation:
An education related paper/report you have prepared. The submission must not exceed 10 pages of text.
An essay no more than two pages describing the assignment for writing the paper, what the greatest challenge was in writing the paper, what lessons were learned from completing the assignment, and if you were to redo the report, what would be changed?
A letter of recommendation from a professor in the discipline.
A current and comprehensive official academic transcript.
