Eligibility: Undergraduate and postgraduate members who are enrolled in a degree-granting program or postgraduate qualification studying software engineering.

Criteria: Academic achievement, application form, essay.

2. Attach the following required documentation:

An essay of no more than 1000 words describing a particular project/concept/piece of software that demonstrates your excellence in this area. In particular, but not limited to, a focus on analytical outcomes in communications, security, logistics delivery, foreign language interpretation and solving of cryptological and/or mathematical concepts would be highly regarded.

If applicable, you may wish to submit diagrams or code snippets along with your description to highlight elements of your solution.

You should however consider your audience to include technical experts, as well as non-technical but involved in the process.

A university document that confirms your enrollment in one of the disciplines outlined above as being eligible for this award.

An academic transcript (copies accepted).
