Eligibility: Undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate members who are currently enrolled in classes at a degree-granting program at a Canadian university must meet ONE of the following eligibility requirements:
1. Studying a minimum of one semester outside of Canada at a recognized university, this can include a shortened summer semester.
2. Enrolled in a postgraduate program at a university outside of Canada scheduled to commence within the academic year following the granting of the award.
3. Enrolled in a study abroad or volunteer program with a recognized organization.
Criteria: Application form and essay.
Application requirements:
1. An essay of no more than 2,000 words describing the factors influencing your choice to study/volunteer abroad and how it will contribute to your degree. Describe the program and how this experience will allow you to contribute to your industry or society during and/or when you have completed your study or entered the workforce.
2. Confirmation of enrollment at your host university or study abroad program.
3. A current and comprehensive official academic transcript.
