Only some of Golden Key’s scholarships and awards require the applicant to register an intent to submit a full application using International Scholarship and Tuition Services, Inc. (ISTS). Registering your intent to submit an application must be done online. If a particular scholarship calls for registering your intent to apply via this online process, please follow these steps:

1. Carefully read the scholarship description and requirements located under scholarship listing. If under the application requirements, the scholarship or award you are applying for lists Register Your Scholarship Application, you will need to register your intent to apply online. If it does not, then you will not use the online process to register your scholarship or award application.

2. Register your intent to apply by clicking ONLINE REGISTRATION. This link will take you to the International Scholarship and Tuition Services (ISTS) website. Be sure to have your Golden Key membership number ready. During this process you will be prompted for an ACCESS KEY. The ACCESS KEY is GKIHS.

3. If you do not know your membership number, please click here.

4. You will click on the link to APPLY or UPDATE a New Application. You will be prompted to apply for an Applicant Identification Number (AIN). Please be sure to make a note of your AIN number.

5. Once you click on the "Request Application Identification Number" button, the next page will contain your AIN number. You will also need to enter GKIHS as your access key and your name to proceed with the process. 

6. Any changes that need to be made after the application has been submitted can be made by logging in again using your AIN number, your name, and the Access Key.

7. If you are applying for more than one award/scholarship, please submit a separate application package and cover page for each award.

8. Once you have completed the
online form, please print the Cover Page. This will be Page 1 of your entire application submission.

9. All submissions, including projects/essays, must be in English.

10. By the postmark deadline date, fax the following documents to 615-627-9685 or mail them to the appropriate address listed below:

a. Cover Page of your application (from the online registering process). Applications will not be considered unless this page is submitted.
b. Other required documentation pertaining to the scholarship you wish to apply, as detailed in the scholarship listing.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS ABOUT YOUR APPLICATION

1. Carefully read each of the scholarship application procedures listed under scholarship listing.

2. As a Golden Key member, you can apply for as many scholarships as you like, as long as you meet the eligibility requirements. Only one application submission per member for each scholarship is allowed.

3. Application submissions that require you to register your intent to apply (via the internet) must include the requested Cover Page.

4. Registering your intent to apply is only the first step in the scholarship application process. Be certain to complete the other steps to complete your application as detailed for each scholarship.

5. Applications will not be considered if the postmark date of the application mailed/shipped is past the stated deadline date.

6. Applications must have all required documentation.

7. Please retain a copy of your submission for your records.

8. The status of your application can be found by logging into the ISTS website using your AIN number, name, and the Access Key. There is a drop down menu that will allow you to "check status" of your application.

PLEASE NOTE: Scholarship winners will be notified via email within 60 days of the deadline date. After the winners have been notified, all applicants will also receive an email notification.
