About Travis Gale
Travis Gale has involved himself in leadership and development processes since he was a teenager. After finishing high school he embarked on an “around-the-world” bicycle trip covering over 16 000 kilometers and succeeded in raising R1.7m for children living with HIV/AIDS in KwaZulu-Natal. For this he was awarded a North Local Council Mayoral Award for Community Development. 

Travis has been an active speaker on his experiences and continues to seek out opportunities to challenge his community to step out their comfort zones.  The Durban Umgeni Rotary Club acknowledged this by presenting Travis with a Merit Award for “Devoted and Unselfish Service Above Self” to the community.

Upon completion of his degree in Human Resources at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Travis worked as a dive master and underwater videographer on Koh Phi Phi, Thailand.  It was here where he experienced the devastation of the December 26th tsunami. 

As an associate of Apple Tree, he is currently delivering leadership & EQ processes within the corporate arena.  His faith, coupled with the many life experiences he has had is what drives Travis’s passion for sharing positive insights and helping others turn those insights into action.
