This year workshops will focus on the following areas:
- LeaderSHIP - Chapter success, membership drives, on campus communications, marketing on campus, leadership development
- MentorSHIP - Personal and professional development, business communications, advisor and officer panels
- ScholarSHIP - Fundraising, scholarly development, graduate admissions, benefits of membership, test prep
- FellowSHIP - Social engagement, chapter activities, new member recognition events, networking, campus collaboration, Honorary member engagement
- CitizenSHIP - Successful community service projects, chapter literacy initiatives, international service learning opportunities
There will be opportunities Friday, 31 July and Saturday, 1 August for delegates to conduct workshop presentations. Each workshop session will be 50 minutes.
Presenting a workshop is a great way to add an impressive dimension to your resume, while sharing a unique chapter activity or communicating ideas that are of interest to you.

ATTENTION CHAPTER ADVISORS: In an effort to develop a conference program that not only enriches the development of our student leaders, we hope to provide the same opportunities to our advisors. We plan to have 4 workshops specifically for advisors to present and share ideas that will provide professional development, strategies to enhance your advisor role and how to continue to make a meaningful impact in the lives of Golden Key scholars.
The theme for the 2009 Advisor Track is "LeaderSHIP and Facilitation Skills" and is a component of the Advisor Competency Model. We invite all advisors to submit proposals:
