Help America Vote College Program
 The Help America Vote College Program (HAVCP) encouraged college students to get involved in elections. Through the generous support of the United States Election Assistance Commission, Golden Key was proud to work collaboratively in an effort to increase awareness and participation in the 2008 election this November.
All chapters who elected to participate in this program automatically fulfilled the "Other Mission Related Activities" portion of the Local Chapter Activities Standard. Additionally, Golden Key will award one $1,000 national award and ten $400 regional awards to the chapters who demonstrated the most participation.
In order for your chapter to get credit for participating in the Golden Key HAVCP, remember to document your contributions by uploading an activity report through our online Chapter Standards Reporting. Please be as specific as possible! In order for your chapter to be eligible for HAVCP regional and chapter awards, all chapters must submit their HAVCP report by December 1, 2008. HAVCP will still automatically fulfill the "Other Mission Related Activities" portion of the Local Chapter Activities Standard, even if not submitted until the second Chapter Standards Reporting deadline on June 1, 2009.
