Internship Description

QS Network offers two Golden Key members the opportunity to work at the QS offices in London for three months over the summer (end of May to end of August approximately*) or full fall semester (approximately July to November 2010).  

QS Network is a leading global career and education network. QS provides the platform for universities, business schools and employers to target, meet and select the best qualified candidates from around the world. This includes the World MBA Tour, the World Grad School Tour, Scorecard, variety of websites, email marketing and many other tools.

The aim of this project is to assist in building relationships with educational and business-oriented affiliations in the US.  This internship will focus on using social marketing techniques, direct mailing, and assisting the team to achieve name recognition in US and Canada.  Good networking and computer skills are essential.

The successful candidate will be involved in market research specifically on the US and Canadian markets, to identify the best social media options to use for marketing campaigns. The candidate will then develop and maintain relationships with the chosen media as well as implementation of the campaign objectives. Furthermore, the candidate will be heavily involved in reaching out to Golden Key chapters and networks to develop strong links between the organization and QS.

This position will contribute to the planning and effective execution of an international marketing campaign. The candidate will liaise with a team of marketers based in our London and Paris offices although he/she will be based in our London office. The ideal candidate will already have a strong network of high achievers in his or her university and must be involved in many social organizations. The key to the role is to maintain established relationships with Golden Key, use social network outlets such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Myspace and service key association relationships on an international scale.

The candidate must have a strong desire to work in marketing.
