The International Scholar Laureate Program (ISLP) provides scholars the opportunity to further their career development, strengthen their leadership skills and engage in a culturally enriching experience in Australia, China or the United States. This unique educational opportunity is offered to all Golden Key International Honour Society members.
In each ISLP delegation, scholars increase knowledge and preparation in a specific career field, such as Business, Diplomacy & International Relations, Engineering, Medicine and Nursing. Through a comparative curriculum, they gain a global understanding of how their career of interest is practiced in the host country and they are able to compare and contrast current methods and procedures in their home country.

Golden Key member Wes Anderson writes about his experience at the 2009 ISLP Delegation on Medicine in China:
"ISLP was an amazing experience that greatly broadened my knowledge of not only medicine in China but also Chinese culture. It was very eye-opening to see a form of medicine that wasn’t wrapped around thousands of drugs in the form of pills, but rather natural techniques and herbal treatments. A lot of emphasis is given to overall health care and the well-being of the patient, which I will definitely strive for in my professional career. Along with the medical practices, I took quite a lot away from the cultural aspects. One experience that sticks out in my mind is ‘The People's Corner’ in Xi’an, where local Chinese meet every Friday night to practice English and discuss their views of the current events affecting them. Although the entire trip was only two weeks, I feel like I gained knowledge about the Chinese people and their medicine that would take years to learn in a classroom."
