Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas
Overview
The Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas is excited about the new curriculum for its Retail and Supply Chain MBA program. This AACSB-accredited program is designed to leverage the college's strengths in marketing, logistics and information systems – the three disciplines at the center of the retail and supply chain revolution. This 48-hour program begins in January of each year and continues for 3 semesters. Career concentrations are offered in the following areas: retail marketing, supply chain management, finance and entrepreneurship.
The new program provides a rigorous theoretical background in the core disciplines and is balanced by a professionally relevant career track. Additionally, professional development seminars will give students the opportunity to customize their degrees with skill sets that are the prerequisite to many of the career paths in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) and retail industries. Summer internships with CPG companies and study abroad programs give students additional hands-on learning experiences that strengthen their resume and increase their earning potential.
