You will work with a mentor to plan out a personal program of developmental assignments that reflect your interests and the company's needs. You'll receive support, coaching and mentoring from your program mentor as well as your immediate supervisors. You'll explore different aspects of the professional field, so you can make informed choices about your career growth. You'll network with colleagues in the program to develop social and business relationships.
Successful candidates typically have a superior scholastic record and have demonstrated characteristics such as the ability to work well with others, self-expression, maturity, resourcefulness and integrity. Since the program's inception, there have been separate versions for engineering, purchasing and other hiring organizations. While a typical program may include four assignments in two years, each organization has designed the best way to develop the talent and leadership we need.
